Needham, MA – Wingate Healthcare promoted Chris Stack to Senior Vice President of Operations, effective immediately. In his new role, Chris oversees the day-to-day operations of all Wingate communities, from Independent and Assisted Living communities to Memory Care and Skilled Nursing.

Chris joined Wingate as Vice President of Operations two years ago and has since made himself a valuable member of the Wingate family. He has done a remarkable job guiding our communities through, and leading them out of, the COVID era. The key to Chris’ success as an extraordinary leader is credited to the amount of time spent in the field forging relationships and building teams within the communities.

“Chris’ experience and tenure in the industry at companies big and small, his training as an Officer in the military, and his ‘roll up your sleeves, get it done’ mentality have made him an invaluable part of our team,” said Alexandra Schuster, President of Wingate. “You can find him picking up garbage and moving furniture in the communities, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find him behind a desk.”

Chris brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to Wingate. He started his career as an Executive Director of an assisted living community in Connecticut in 1997. He went on to serve as Regional Director of Operations for Atria, Emeritus and Brookdale. Chris graduated from the University of Connecticut’s Healthcare Administrators’ program, has an accounting degree from Saint Joseph’s College and served as an U.S. Army Officer.
