Wingate Living Kicks Off 40th Anniversary Celebration with Special Employee Recognition Event at Gillette Stadium
Event Honored 200+ Long-Serving Team Members Who Have Dedicated 10+ Years to Wingate’s Mission
Needham, MA (November 13, 2025) – Wingate Living, a family-run organization offering a full continuum of services from Independent and Assisted Living to Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Home Care in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, celebrated the launch of its 40th anniversary year with a special employee recognition event on Monday, November 3rd at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The event honored more than 200 team members who have dedicated 10 or more years of service to Wingate Living’s mission of elevating senior living with compassion, dignity, and grace.
Founded by the Schuster family in 1986, Wingate Living has grown into a respected provider of senior living services spanning three generations of family leadership. The November 3rd celebration marked the beginning of a yearlong commemoration of Wingate Living’s four decades of service to older adults and their families throughout New England.
“For 40 years, Wingate Living has been built on the dedication of exceptional people who treat our residents like family,” said Alexandra Schuster, third-generation family leader at Wingate Living. “This event was our way of saying thank you to the team members who have made Wingate Living what it is today, a place where compassion and excellence come together every single day.”
The event took place in one of Gillette Stadium’s premier event spaces overlooking the field. Honored team members experienced breathtaking views of the stadium while enjoying a celebratory lunch. The afternoon featured recognition of outstanding employees across nine award categories, including the prestigious Dream Weaver Award, General Orde Wingate Award, and Wingate Survivor Award.
Special guest Pete Bouchard, beloved meteorologist and community figure, served as master of ceremonies for the event. Wingate Living’s President, Alexandra Schuster, and Founder and CEO, Scott Schuster, delivered welcoming remarks highlighting Wingate Living’s journey from a single family’s commitment to a multi-generational legacy of care.
As Wingate Living embarks on its 40th anniversary year in 2026, the organization continues to be guided by the Schuster family promise: to lead with compassion, dignity, and grace, addressing the evolving needs of older adults for generations to come.
